Rupee depriciation would increase export income of all plantation companies in genaral. But I am looking for a good company with larger potion of rubber and oil palm.Coz wage bill of tea estates has affected badly and made them unprofitable.

have a look at this chart.i dont see kota has bottomed out.instead i am expecting the price to fall to 30Rs. or above the MA (Red) Shocked

There is another wage hike end of this year as per the collective agreement. This vicious cycle keeps repeating biannually hampering any growth . Even though some amateurs think plantations are undervalued just because the PE is low most fund managers ignore it . Only Yaddahige is buying NAMU ,KGAL and MASK to prevent his net worth depreciating further.

here is the chart.i tried to explain most of them on the chart.the current price level has found a support at mar 2009 price levels.some want to enter the market at this level looking at the strong support.but i would wait until the price is above the MA to know whether the big brothers have loaded.the stocks if go up should be disposed at around 30-32rs as you will see the sell off at previous occasions. Cool

Or is it probably some problems with DFN charts scratch

no smallville.its the daily chart.i have no idea why the gaps in my chart.yes its its direct fn platform of capital trust. Embarassed

Welcome aboard buddy, i have stopped using DFN charts until they release the new version on 7th, the reason for gaps are DFN sometimes fail to download data on specific dates, i also having gaps and ASI candlesticks lower shadow goes till the hell Very Happy

never buy anything on the hope things will turnaround.that will be a gamble.so look for the indicators,there are things it will tell you.dont buy or sell things becos someone tells you.if you see all plantation stocks take the similar pattern of ASI.and below MA.do not be hurry to purchase stocks.sellers may be waiting to catch some good prices in the bear market.if i were you i will wait until there is more volatility and price action.
