I think it is not SEC CEO. CSE CEO Ms.Sureka Sellahewa has tendered her resignation w.e.f from October 2013.(Ada Derana)

Is it on personal ground or not. That;s unknown.

Surekha Sellahewa tenders her resignation
CEO of the Colombo Stock Exchange, Surekha Sellahewa has tendered her resignation from the post with effect from 31st of October, 2013.

This was confirmed to us by Niroshan Wijesundera, Head of Market Development at the CSE.

Wijesundera said, Sellahewa has cited personnel reasons for her decision.

She has been working at the CSE for 24 years and out of it seven years has been in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer.
