I heard that in Ja-ela area, a massive farm has been setup by a big person (i.e. minister) and his production price of 1kg chicken is below 200 where as for small scale farmers, the cost is 225/-. This is becuz all these small scalar farmers have to buy chicks, food and vitamins outside where their cost would be around 225/- if 1000 chickens are grown. So their profit is any sales beyond 225/-.

Chicken prices in the country is a bit stabilized and small scaler farmers stay away from production till the prices go up as its a loss for them to sell now since there are no buyers for their cost.
In near future, the production is going to be low as output from these farmers are halted. Therefore, the prices can go up.
