If people oppose this Crown project, why don't they talk about prevailing ones. To my mind the main reason is the political hypocrisy.

very recently i read a book written by Michael Justin Lee and the Theme was

The Chinese way to Wealth and Prosperity

One negative factor he highlight is the chinese addiction to casino. He explain the role of Stanely Ho the leading casino businessman ( a chinese tycoon who has married 4 times and with 17 children) , and the island of Maccau.

Stanely Ho was the first to start casino in that tiny island of less than a half a million population. Later all the other game makers of Casino has entered to that island.

The writer use a nice phrase. YOU MAKE IT . THEY WILL COME. He says when casino is started with one or two licence and later you find that more than 30 licences granted.

Who come to play casino. BILL GATE, RICHARDSON, BUFFET,,, no...its players are government officiers and employees of various kinds who get addicted. How does these players earn money to play casino? By misusing others money. China has cut the neck of more than 25 chinese bureaucrats who has caught for misusing public money and the reason was playing casino... If an EDUCATION MINISTER OF CHINA SHOULD HAVE CLAIMED OF HIS CASINO PLAYING, he should have been punished with life if failed to reveal the sources of money.

This is an eye opening story.. casino is an addictive. I believe the government should find other means of improving the economic means of the country than relying purely on casino.
