Who uses DirectFN TWS

Those folders are the watch lists you have created (the tabs). I think if you delete a watch list that relevant folder get deleted.

My broker is Capital Trust. I want to know these things.

I use DirectFN TWS provided by Asha Philips. But I presume Capital Trust & Asha use same softwear.

It seems it is same for the Capital trust, but the "Cash statement" doesn't give any results for me. Not sure that is the case for all Capital Trust users.

btw, Intrinsic, have you every tried the 'Set alert' option in dfn tws, I set some alerts, but they didn't get triggered when the condition met. Have you ever tried that?

1. Cash Statement : Make sure you update the period under review (Ex: From 01/01/2011 to 11/05/2011).
2. Alert Manager : It works. Have you seen the yellow bell-mark just by the symbol you alerted, in the watch list or full market list ? Right now I can't check it since the market is closed.

2. Here I have set a alert to notify me when RHTL last price is 30. Please see the image. The yellow image appears, but they never get triggered even the condition is met.

Have you got your things sorted out ? my Alert Manager is also now turned defunct ! I contacted IT Support at Brokerage Firm. As per their instructions I uninstalled & re-installed DirectFN, but no improvement !!

My SW is working well. Now Im trading . Thank you all!!

I checked the cashflow in the other machine, there also it is not coming. So it can't be due to a installation problem.
Alert thing is not working.

Not yet....Since Capital trust started using DirectFN recently, thought I'll wait for some time and see..

Why directFN doesnt give net portfolio valuation? Anyone noticed this?

I also using DirectFN, that is a very familiar and good software when comparing with CDAX Pro

No. Some members of CPT using directfn without any problem. Im gonna re install this.

Well. My broker is Capital Trust and my Order book was stuck. ( I could see what was happening in the market.....so it wasn't Directfn that was stuck ) I sent a mail with screenshots to my broker and customer reps. But my order was filled after about another hour

Yesterday when I called them, they said they are having some issues and they are fixing it. But today morning also there were issues when putting orders. Couldn't cancel or amend anything. It didn't show the orders as filled even if they were filled they were showing as New.
But by the evening it seemed to be ok. May be they have fixed it now.

Missed some opportunities because of that

Oh don't worry my friend. Remember to get your adviser's help when these kinds of problems occurred.
If you are in a very busy situation, don't go for correcting technical problems by your self. Inform them about that and do your trades manually without losing good opportunities. I have many experiences on this as of my old broker firm.
