Once you studied above ratios, in simply balance sheet,p & L,casflow statement and calculator is enough to take a figure. These figures i input my scatter and pv graphs then with W and H patters. Then i have micro ratios those are like sleeping giants. If you can see that no one can stop your success. Haah

teller never tells every thing due to one reason.

Example

Tim’s Tile Service is a construction company that is currently applying for a new loan to buy equipment. The bank asks Tim for his financial statements before they will consider his loan. Tim’s income statement shows that he made $500,000 of income before interest expense and income taxes. Tim’s overall interest expense for the year was only $50,000. Tim’s time interest earned ratio would be calculated like this:

Times Interest Earned Ratio Formula=$500,000/$50,000

As you can see, Tim has a ratio of ten. This means that Tim’s income is 10 times greater than his annual interest expense. In other words, Tim can afford to pay additional interest expenses. In this respect, Tim’s business is less risky and the bank shouldn’t have a problem accepting his

b'cos very difficult to find correct history data... some time we have to read all reports 10 years... very difficult and take lots of time...

It went for a rights issue. Bcos of that eps came down to 20 level. Otherwise eps would hv gone over 30.
70+ is company's all time high.

Agree, with the rights what happend to DY, compare with it Lfin. Why teller recommended lfin@130 and given a target 157/-, but never vfin. Think out of the box,why ROAA is less

@ TEller - ROA is not mutch less . its around 20% .if Lfin we can give 75 marks i give vfin 65+ marks at thease prices.
Vfin market prices are not reacting its true even when we try to buy it is very difficult to buy it 1 rupee below market price. LFin easy to buy below market price 1 rupee or up.

something wrong with Vfin prices. but according to available financial infomation VFIN z not bad. it only second to Lfin

Also i dont agree tellers target for LFIN is 167. Lfin share prices go with earnings.

if return on assets calculated no one will invest in Banks.
@Teller - Your ratio calculations are not majic to me. im a finance special graduate from most difficult finance degree SL @USJP.

If we go PE ratio we will miss some fast growing companys. there are many exeptions.
If we go Price to NAV ratio we will miss high yeild on assets companys (fast growing)
if we go div yield ratio we will miss fast growing small caps

Vfin is putting up a building in galle Road for their head office. After completion of the building they will relocate their head office n few other offices belongs to vone in this building.

Lock down was from 20 /03 /2020 so last quarter there will be no effects .
Vfin is performing well but can take 2 or 3 qurtaers to recover from covid effect.
Also issue of their asset quality???

Results doesn't reflect Covid impact as this is quarter ended 31st March 2020. Actual impact on the company and its bcash and equivalents will be reflected in next quarterly report. IMO
