GREG long stagnate between 60 -70 mainly because of SEC investigation, If it is cleared, not only capital trust everyone follow the run.

Market Pulls Back Sharply As Brokers Are Yet To Come To Terms With The Newly Relaxed Margin Lending Regulations!!!

Many brokers were not sure of the way their ‘net liquid capital’ as stated in the newly relaxed margin lending regulations are calculated. Without a clear idea of this new net liquid capital calculation most of them were seen selling on T+3 or forced selling on T+5. It will take a little more time for most of them to come to terms with the correct interpretation of the new regulations relating to margin lending. Of course several brokers without any net liquid capital will still not be able to lend even under the new regulations that came into effect last Monday. We are glad to announce that Capital Trust has sufficient funds to refrain from forced selling except where the client margins exceed the allowed 50% limit.

GREG issue may have been sorted out finally when the SEC met on Friday. The result will appear on the SEC website either today or tomorrow and may possibly published on the CSE website as well. Popular stock bashing may continue this week with added vigour undeterred by the imposition of price bands. CLPL may be pushed up ahead of the warrant maturity payment date.

There is a rumor that GREG has received the Fund Rs.2Bn for the sale of foreign investment.

We can expect this announcement within day or two.

There is a rumor that, GREG paid nominal fee and obtained the clearance letter from SEC, and letter will be published today.

No one can predict the markt at this trend...for the last one month seyon keeps telling that greg wil have a good run. Poor retailers have got caught at 74 and big fishes are selling their shares.
recommending shares repeatedly is a misuse of this forum.
he also recommended about twod saying the courtcase wil be finalised but later what happened? it kept getting postponed. So therefore who knows what will happen to this greg and how long it will take for the announcement . So pls stop giving false hope for greg until the SEC announcement come.

I never quote to buy GREG, the investment decision is up to u. Here we just telling our finding, information and views, as u said nobody can predict the mkt trend.

Yes we thinks this particular stocks will perform based on our facts and info, sometime those will not perform, since this small mkt is not in the hand of Seyon ( as a very small retailer in CSE) but in the hands of so called manipulators. i did not have a contacts with them.

If u are uncomfortable with my words, don't believe my words, I never tell to trust my words.

GREG has to 10 million fine to SEC. Then to problem is ok. Still the GREG company haven't paid the fine. When they pay it we can see the announcement on www.cse.lk web. After this announcement GREG will start moving again.

Rumour is there but price is not increasing(actually decreasing).So they are probably waiting for price to go up to make the announcement so that price can go down.

Expecting new acquisition through the CLPL and GREG, since Wednesday was last day of warrant conversion, GREG would have subscribed entire warrants ( 1.3Bn)

So this time GREG will start its run once the news received to the mkt...
