Dear Friends, clarify the following

As per 31.12.2010 quarterly accounts of spence

DCSL hold 27.97%
Milford Exports Ceylon Ltd hold 1.06%
Stassen Exports Ltd hold .80%

If the today's crossing bought buy one of these will they liable to make a mandatory offer

In the crossing also if they get involve, then it pass the 30% mark thats why i want clear, whether DCSL need to acquire 30% or its enough they achieve 30% with the related parties

Are these 2 fully owned by DCSL

Milford Exports Ceylon Ltd
Stassen Exports Ltd

something going there, that's why HJ collecting money from selling.

For takeover whole SPEN need ~48B roughly, does he has that much???

Milford was the largest shareholder of DCSL if i am not mistaken

i don't think DCSL will not in a position in acquiring the Spence, but they may target for the management control ( more than 50% of the holdings )

Your conclusions are more or less in the right directions. Uncle Harry definitely wants to make his mark amoung the Investor Community. So far this is the easiest of initiatives for him and obtaining a 51% stake will give him enough room to manipulate and wriggle through in geeting what he wants. Lets see the developments.
