It is believed HNWI's are the ones who bought AAIC from SHL and push the price well above the mandatory offer price. Also he is put selling pressure on REEF to get warrant 17 from retailers (either CLND or REEF is manipulated)

There are so many examples Divas Equities did
* PMB case
* PAP
* LHCL
* HVA

Why SEC Malik Cader, Indrani Sugathadasa not taking actions against price manipulation

Wait dude,

Now only SEC wake up and started to investigate 2010 transactions, So we have to give some time to investigate.

However i am not sure about DJ Matters, Everyone knows DJ & NP were behind the screen of these shares manipulating.

If SEC will issue notice of action to these guys, Hats off to SEC

But this is Sri Lanka, typical democratic country ? Nobody know what will happen.

2011 matters will only be investigated in 2012/2013

This is September 2011 and SEC has investigated upto August 2010.

As @seyon says let's see whether "directors" get notices or if the SEC only hunts "employees".

I have seen some people saying "I bought LHCL ,PAP , HVA at this price.Will it go up ?"
Actually DJ/NP might have bought those shares at a lower price .But retailers are driving it up.Then NP/DJ can sell it .
Ultimately they blame everybody including regulator.
But be mindful retailers are only making these people rich.
DJ/NP know very well they can earn easy money as long as blind followers/gossips are there.
In developed markets , educated markets these types of things are very difficult to do , since market players are more educated.

Agreed with soileconomy. They didn't ask any retailers to buy at a higher price. They are also doing trading in CSE to get a profit. Not a charity service. Once they see the opportunity they will sell it rather than keeping the shares. Whose fault is this?? Them or the blind retailers who follow them???
This is my personal opinion.

All the investors are not intelligent as you guys. Some HNWI doing manipulation for some extend and few do it to extreme end. Manipulation start with a story
HVA,LHCL there were nice rumors spread by brokers who backed HNWI
