Shares not appearing in my online SC Securities account!

Hi guys,

I had about Rs. 53,000 worth of shares in about 11 different companies in my portfolio. I am trading with SC Securities. There is even an excess balance of Rs. 2,900 in my account.

However, from today morning, there is nothing in my portfolio. Even the transaction history doesn't show any history of any of the shares being sold.

Is anyone else facing this same problem with SC Securities

Did you call ur broker and ask what happened? I am waiting a bit before calling my broker because I am in Maldives and it's a little expensive for me to call Sri Lanka...

yeah! nothing! But I think it's not affect to your records. If you manage your portfolio well using a software or web service, you don't have any problem in this situation. anyway, call them and tell this. I don't like to give calls to the technical section because they neglected a problem which was in my account. I have only very few shares with S C Securities as I shifted to capital trust.

There are so many failures in their server but they don't take any action to solve them. I have sent about 20 e-mails continuously but it was useless. Best thing is changing the broker. But keep the friendship with your adviser if he is good. My one is not good but I used to talk to another adviser who is very friendly with me.

SC is in stone age with their online system. Everybody else is developing.
