Please refer to the first chart(top) first. The red line is the parabolic SAR. Look it doesn't show a uptrend or downtrend further. It says current situation will continue to the next day. But you can see a small line has crossed the purple area at the end.(above). That gives us a sell signal.

Lets we move on to the second one. In this chart you can see the orange line has passed the 70 level. So, buying at this price level is not recommended. But it is a straight line. That means a day trading can be done. risky; But you can try it.

Third chart also shows an upward. It says also day trading can be done. (Don't hold this share more than 3 days.)

MACD chart is the special chart on this share. You can see the blue line has crossed the orange line at the circled area. That's a sell signal. But blue line is still below to the o level and the orange line has crossed the 0 level, below to above. So, a further upward can be expected on Monday.

Note: This research is based on the data of last Friday. LGL is a hot share in CSE these days. So, this prediction may change as of a sudden and hopeless change in the price. Be watchful! cyclops

Happy Trading!

Thank You!

Good effort Roboticfx, But analysis is for day trading I believe. If you do the same study on CTBL at the time its run started similar signals could have been seen. Isn't it?

Thanks Rajaraam.

I will check CTBL also.

Yes, this analysis is not for long term. This is only for upcoming days in the next week. Thanks for reminding me that. I will edit the introduction soon.
(I did this like that because there are lot of posts about LGL such as "LGL what will happen today?".

Thanks again!

Roboticfx, Im not sure on the MACD parameters that you have used. I usually use MACD (12,26,9). Based on MACD (12,26,9) the MACD has crossed over from below to above crossing the center line. From a technical point of view this is a extreme bullish signal. That means....EMA[fast,12] – EMA[slow, 26] > 0. On the plus side there is considerable volume support as well. With my experience MACD crossing the center line is a much more powerful signal than the signals given well it crosses the singal line (9day EMA of MACD). But, bit of a concern so far is that the crossover is not a gradual one. It's sudden increase (almost vertical).

If any one is planning to trade LGL.N on Monday..... the best advice I can give is try to enter at the dip...dont jump in at pre-open and burn your fingers. But you never know...it may not have a dip.... bounce

My personal plan is to trade LGL.X on Monday...I feel it's less risky...

Note - At present I have fairly big amount of LGL.N in my portfolio. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Normally LGL rallies existed 2-3 days. 55 will be a big resistance if its gonna continue forward. if it breaks that 55 barrier, who know what is next the next level.

So many times it came to 55 level & coming down, so as windi said, if it break this barrier sometime may be in 100+

All the TECH WIZARDS out there, did any one of u able to predict this LGL sudden rise using ur favored technical tools???? I don't think so, i personally do not believe that these technical do any good predictions in CSE, we dont have advanced share market like in west, these technical tools are developed by the experts who trade in western markets, so i dont know how good they gonna do when they are applied to very immature market like in sri lanka. Other thing is, does these analysis take in to the consideration the facts like Manipulation, rumors???? I think LGL had the sudden rise due to the fact that may be EPF is about to enter in to it, or LITRO management will be given to them or they are about to release REALLY REALLY GOOD financial results ( I think 3rd reason is the real reason ) ...

100% agree investor1984. I never follow these charts. If these analysis working, why couldnt they predict the price of HVA, EAST, REG, RGEM?

Ya technical analysis are most pbly waste of time. They cant have ability to predict future, They only produce charts based on past. Very rarely gve results.

Ahemai, ahenam manipulate unnethi share akaka heta price aka kiyamuko balanna. How can u guarantee a share that will not be manipulated? How about REG, AAIC? Earlier if asked you the question you may say fundamentally strong, good shares, but what happend? manipulated. So, if there is no guarantee why u waste the time by ploting these charts Mr.RoBBB? lol!

Taking about LGL Technical charts i pointed this situation 15 days back when no one interested about it (except windi5 and natsume) check below link.
http://forum.srilankaequity.com/t10402-what-about-lgl#70154
anyway I just go through the Friday trades and there was a 2.5M lot traded @ 49 and after that price jumps to 50's with big quantity trades. In Sep 21 there was a crossing @ 43 but no news was declared about the selling party.Up to Friday foreign holding was about 2M but now its 8 Laks,Non-voting foreign holding is increased significantly.
EPF already have 18,762,200 shares (5.60%) according to last quarter reports and there were only 4 parties had over 2.5M quantity.

@ current prices LGL.X is safer than it's voting to me.
