LOLC, BRWN, BIL, සේරම බොරු ලාභ. ලාභ ලැබිලා තියෙන්නේ මිලදී ගත් ආයතනවල වැඩි තක්සේරුව මත. (Profit on Acquistion) මේවා  මුදල් ලාභ නොවේ, පොත් ලාභ පමණයි. මේ ලාභ වලින් තමා LOLC  හෝල්ඩින්ස්, BRWN සහ BIL ලාභ පෙන්නලා තියෙන්නේ. මේක විජ්ජාවක් පමණයි! රැවටීමට කැමති සියලු දෙනා රැවටේවා!!

➡ Double counting of profits can give misleading picture

➡ Earnings, growth rates and TTM PERs should be adjusted for non-recurring items

Lipton tea plantation acquisition has been included in #BIL 2Q25 results and book value

Net assets with a fair value of Rs70 bn have been acquired for Rs18 bn

But Rs51 bn of BIL's profit is due to non-cash, one-off negative goodwill on purchase of Lipton tea plantations in Kenya
