Nov 02, 2011 (LBT) - The market saw a serious turnaround as both indices gained over 100 points on the back of speculation that the there would be a shift in the top chairs in the SEC.
The speculation became a reality as the former SEC director general being promoted as a senior advisor to capital markets.
The ASPI gained 170.43 points to close at 6,452 whilst the more sensitive MPI also gained 139.40 points to close 5,743.
Total turnover for the day was 1,545 million. (Approximately USD 13.9 million) Total volume traded was 122,750,000[youtube][/youtube]
