He can have BBA, MBA, Phd but can he handle SEC. We need a person who can make correct decision at this critical time in the exchange. Not just a person to put signature and be a puppet.

Example....You can have BBA and MBA but if you do not know shipping you are totally lost. Even a experienced wharf clerk can take the chairman for a ride in shipping. Trust me I know and I have seen and experienced it. It is the same in SEC and CSE.

You are right, but that's the thing happening in most of the sectors in Srilanka.
Nothing new no?

We can let him proceed at least 3 months and see the progress. Regulations are needed for CSE but there should be a proper way to put those. Earlier they intoduced regulations blindly and did't think of the investors and the market.

Better to stop commenting on the new man without knowing any things properly. As per my understanding having sufficient education back ground to start his works. I wish him good luck to start the work effectively here and upgrade the CSE.

Why bother with all these pointless activties of appointments.... Just go ahead and appoint deleted as the chariman / DG of the stock Exchange saves everybody from all this farce and make insider trading, manipulation a conformed norm...

I guess majority of this forum and investors will be extremely pleased and the likes of theese " concerned big i nvestors" appeased so that they can go on thier merry way sans regulation.

No need of educational bakcgrounds... CV should just read drug dealer, money launderer and connected to the righy people... thats all ... if you have allegations of murder and kidnapping ( guess you can have that as a desirable qualification but not compulsory)...
