It is the mean of all the companies' PER of that sector.
(Sum of PER of all the companies of relevant sector/number of companies in that sector)

Good effort, but i could see some of the companies bottom line was boosted by non recurring earnings ( CARS, PMB, etc), which should be eleminated to calculate the PE.
