It's a complecated subject, that is why there is a saying "Dana weladama nodana govithana". See you at 5800.

I think that's the story with support levels. Someone gives a nice round figure and expect enough people to buy it.

In either case there is bit of a liquidity problem in country at the moment. Banks and financial institutions are looking for cash. Just look at some of the interest rates these people are offering, 10-12% on FDs. As long as that goes on we will not see too much upward pressure on the market. Either that whole process has to go through it's motions or we have to see some positive shock.

well i dont think so .....when the asi was 6800-7400 range in last september FD rate was somthing like 18-20% but still maket went up
