Thilak isn't much of a politician. I think he's also the president of the Ananda College OBA. In anycase the chairmanship is pretty much an honorary role. Executive role will go to this Epasinghe guy. From what I know Epasinghe was a fund manager in the states. I hope he introduces shorting. If this market has a short side it should scare away a lot of the manipulators here.

i think thilak is much better choice than "good for nothing SLAS" retirees.
please no more aged SLAS for these positions.

I'm also having kind of positive mind on him. He is not a typical sri lankan politician. Hope he will do something better. First thing he has do to is get back the investors confidence back to the CSE. It is needed fresh institutional buying on fundamentally sound stocks to have a sustainable bull market.
