I think you can not get any capital gain in the short run...prices will not increase..future IPOs also maters people are selling and keeping money for IPOs because giants are coming to the market..so keep your shares some time..

I think better to keep till next reports,, If they do well prices will be appreciated! No point selling at a loss if no hurry!

It is better not to buy IPOs at higher prices.
first day it can sky rocket without reason.

It is hard to imagine both ODEL & SFIN will reach the these prices anytime soon.

If I were in your position & if I have similar sort of quantities in both companies, I would sell Odel & try to buy more SFIN if it goes below Rs 40.00.
Because your losses are minimum from ODEL & try to average SFIN.

You have purchased these shares at very high prices. Unless you sell at a loss you may have to keep them for a long term.

These things happen and not only to you. most of the members in this forum must have gone through it.

Try to learrn from mistakes. Study before buying..
Happy investing..

Agree with you econ. I have never bought shares on their first trading day in CSE. The prices go to crazy levels on the first day and people still buy them. If you look at the history of all recent IPO's, you will notice that the price appreciates a lot (even 100%)on the first day and from second day on wards it starts settling down.

Why would the company price their shares lesser if the value of them is double? The price of these IPO shares are appreciating on the first purely on speculation and we should not fall into that trap.

this is yet another one of those absurdly over valued shares in the market. Singer finance IPO was offered for 15 rupees at the PE of 10 now it's trading at a PE of close to 30.

Based on what valuation you identify these stocks as undervalued at these ( 51 & 47 )levels and bought it
