Is it any chance to move this to announcement/sticky in stock talk/help section to enable to avoid in future by generating more posts asking tomorrow holiday? Monday holiday? etc etc.........( To avoid searching holiday details in future)

Sri Lanka has far too many bank holidays. I hope government will try to reduce the number of holidays in coming years.

It is very disappointing that February 2012 has 4 extra holidays for CSE

they tried last year, by moving many poya's to weekends (5 of them) but it got highlighted and this time, none this year.

It will never happen.. Even governemnt tried union will be against for sure.. In here we are in Middle East we have around 7 to 8 days holidays per year compared to 52 days holidays per year in SL.

Perhaps Sri Lankans are working harder than rest of the people so they need more holidays. Then a favourite sudda's quote comes to my mind.

Anyway a developing (at least trying) country should not have this many holidays. Evil or Very Mad
