As Sunday Times, CSE is going to be demutualise and Qatar going to buy stake of that CSE.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is stepping up the
demutualisation of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) and targeting six
months to complete the job...

.. Qatar Holdings, which owns around 20% in the London Stock
Exchange is interested in a stake in the CSE and will do a feasibility
study of the local exchange in a bid to invest in a 'sizeable' stake.
"But before that the CSE has to be demutualised and made into a public
limited company which is now being fast-tracked,"...

Overall its too little too late.
I hope at least few of these broker huts will go bankrupt (soon) due to lack of transactions.

Reason for the Bangladesh stock market crash was due to a stock broker selling at low to bring down the prices.

Does Sarath own the Capital Trust holding company which pops in and out of top 20 shareholders lists frequently in many of the speculative shares? If he does, wouldn't it be unethical to recommend them to the retail customers when he's also a big player collecting and disposing to the clients?
