I guess its a rumor that spreading about those cut off dates will be 3rd of feb.,I have informed that it is a rumor only and such harsh decision would not be considered by the company.,
May be behind this rumor spreading some opportunists collect at bargain prices due to panic selling.,

look at CLPL.W0012 movements close to warrant conversion day.

It was trading between 10-15 levels then moved down to 1.80 pretty soon.

Be careful with GREG warrants.

Heard about a campaign going on scaring people and collecting warrants at lower prices.,
So keep every one their eyes open.,
The company should immediately post about whats going on ,using relevant media

its gone right down to 5,5o and millions of warrants sold by panic sellers to opportunists.,
now its up again over 7.70.,

1 is it true cse ask grag w2 not trade from 3 rd feb ( orginal cut of date ) ?

2 is it greg as appeal against this decsion.?

y should buy greg2 and pay Rs 33/- and end up with Rs 40/- level total cost, when greg N is available with much bargain 27/- level????

I've heard the same thing. They've agreed to extend the warrant expiry period to September 2013 but the SEC has sent a letter saying that that is fine but the share still stops trading on the 3rd of Feb.

GREG management aren't happy about it and are trying to appeal the decision. As it stands, the warrant will trade till the 3rd of February.

why the SEC is waiting last moment to send there decision.

is this decision must be made public by SEC as this decision is a price sesitive one. SEC is not transparent at all!!!

Well to be fair, the EGM was this morning and the motion to extend the warrant's time period was passed, so the SEC did not have a lot of time to clarify the issue.

...unless they were well aware of what the directors of ERI were going to propose and should have made their stance clear when they heard.

ERI made that announcement to CSE on 06 January 2012.
Don't know whether they informed SEC about this. If they did, SEC had enough time to take a decision.

when this was first annonce by greg. they were aware of the resloution. As regulatry body they must tell the relavent company they are unable to agree with resaloution. And resaloution violate regulation of SEC.

If that's the case then you are right. The regulatory body had enough time to think about and take a stance on the matter. The question is that, nobody knows whether the regulator informed the company then and the news is only coming out now or whether the regulator took a decision today. This could also be ERI's fault if SEC had in fact told them their decision and the company did not take the necessary steps to inform the public.

No price band.

01-Feb-2012 Price Bands

In terms of the SEC directive dated 14th September 2010, the 10% price band has not been imposed on a new security considering the review period from 26th January 2012 to 01st February 2012 (Both days inclusive).
Accordingly the 10% price band is not imposed on any of the securities listed in the CSE for 02nd February 2012.

This means they need to push GREG N above Rs.40 before conversion. I saw some people blindly buying W2 at 5.50 on last 15 mins even with no buyer situation. Very Happy
