Central Bank Repurchase (Repo) Rate 7.50
Central Bank Reverse Repurchase (Reverse Repo) Rate 9.00
Bank Rate 15.00
Statutory Reserve Ratio (SRR) 8.00

Saving account rates can't be exceeded more than 7.5%
Lending rates has to be between 9% and 15%

yes. bad effect. But it could be a huge effect. I read a some comment. 50 basic point means .5% hike.
7% will hike to 7.5%

Under capitalized Banks and RFCs' interest income could be squeezed.

There is additional benefit given for Banks/Finance companies who can borrow from aboard to be ahead of others in their sector with regard to credit growth. Certain banks/companies might has already locked in deals for next few years so they will not see a fall in current income. But overall growth of the sector can be squeezed.

Which are the leading banks and finance companies now who will give better comparative growth than others? Time to analyze more.
