Is he a book worm..he has no fundamental knowledge of economy. This man should resign and go home...The total economy is going to collapse....We should chase this bugger out of the country

your are correct he only spoilt the CSE all of useless IPO came to the market and spoilt the market.

At least now Govt should impose a tax on major imports for a short time
Ex Vehicles like Cars, Van,...
Electric instruments

Temperate imposing these taxes would help to stable the rupee

that s one side...the other is government should do nothing....the price mechanism itself will decide everything...so is forex market.

I mean in short term. Now what is happening importers buying forward. This will last until they are ended up with the buying power.
When they ended up with all the buying power government should enhance the rupee for 2% .

what one should know is whether one is in a position to pass a judjement like this.
a person sitting on the most cricial and sensitive economic financial and political information will base their decisions on the critical data which no one else in the country wuld know. he may or may not be right but that i think should be decided by one who has worn the same shoes before.

and for the information listed companies and IPOs dont come under their purview thats what the SEC is for.

main problem is our central bank is not independent. governor him self is a former politician.. cb is just make some short term policies without looking at long term impacts on whole economy.

Best example I can give is he is like an AMATEUR GAMBLER in CSE.Only difference is amateur gambler is more ethical as he uses his own money and this person plays with country's money and he is safe with his salary.

This is an old story about him. I also heard that he is maintaining a secret portfolio but I don't know the accuracy of those stories.

I really doubt an accountant's economic knowledge. On top of that, when someone got a political appointment s/he can't act independently. The result is a disaster when politics try to control law of nature (free economic system).

If he is a real professional this is the time to show so by giving resignation.
