Has anyone touched GHLL??

They're giving a complementary lunch for share holders (after 1 year only) and as I could remember you have to buy shares before March (but I'm not too sure) and before they print their Annual Report..
Is anyone aware of time frame?

How many shares u have to buy (or is there anything like that)?

I got this from GHLL about 5 years back. Even 100 shares was sufficient( probably 1 share might sufficient too I'm not sure. I got some 5000 shares then bought around 8.00 and got 2 complementary buffet vouchers, and one of my friend got that for just 100 shares. So your cost is Rs. 800 in year 2006-2007. Value of Buffet vouchers 1500 X 2= 2000. After you got it you can sell the 100 shares off. Razz

As I remember I got some vouchers from TAJ as well. Recently I'm not in to those shares, so I do not know the current situation.

About GHLL, they are no way in a position to give a dividend for another decade or so with this huge accumulated losses and debt. Giving Lunch for share holders is the only way for them. rabbit

i found out that the month of redemption will vary for everyone.
100 is enough. I remember getting them during September or around. can't remember

Mahaweli Reach gaves lunch + transport some time back if you had 500+ shares. Maybe it's still the same.

Well I had shares from RENU, HSIG but they never gave.. I heard BLUE is giving a complementary gift vouchers too..

If anyone knows the companies that compliment share holders, pls share with us.. Heading changed...

small - i think there was another similar thread about it. the one where the issues RICH (i think) faced were discussed (behavior of shareholders in AGMs)

btw, BLUE did give gift vouchers for 5,000/- but to buy something in that range, one should spend 7,500/- more at least

it's a voucher for 1 year/
10% discount on OPD investigations except for MRI and CT Scan
5% discount on Room charges

Galadari and Taj-give buffet tickets (For two ).
Riverina-In their AGM lunch is provided (Beruwala)

Hospitals.
Nawaloka, Lanka Hospitals-Discount coupons(Nearly10% on selected).

ceylon Tea services-Good Tea value of nearly Rs 800-(Dilmah )
Dist-Last time they had given Tea packet.
SLT -once they gave PEO TV connection and Upahara mobile connection free.
Normally HNB/RCL give some thing
Hapugastanne and their other sister company gives a trip to their estates including transport and meals.
Piramal glass gave lunch and visit to their factory Horana.

May be sometimes ,some companies might have changed.
But this is what I observed during last 3 years.
Personally I used to send one of my peons as Proxy (For them they love to have these types of things).
I have been to some AGMs , and the way share holders behave for food was shameful.

Seylan bank gave 0.5 discount on loans and a 25 check book free of charge for every 3months till 2010 august.But 2011 august it didn't.
