What is the problem with PLC
Index heavy government owned PLC dragging the index down.

Since IPO it has down 30%

Free employee shares can be one reason. There was news that they are returning them. Any one knows the ground situ. Pl share.

Share came in at a very bad time. Share is fundamentally sound!!

Lots of margin facilities and 2 big foreign parties had to exit with a loss. Still around 2 million shares left to be sold I think...not sure.

I don't know how it will go up, but it is worth well over the current price. Already announced 50cent dividend. I expect another 1 or 2 dividends , can be anything from 10 cents to LKR 1.00.

Their results won't grow as much because of the interest rate and credit curtailing issue but it is still a very good share to have. That is my opinion.

not only PLC almost all IPO's of 2011 failed. SHL, TJL, EXPO, TFIL, VONE, CIFL all way below IPO price now.

What we should ask is why people bought this,Everybody new whats going to happen for this with the market conditions at that time.I remember many brokers didn't recommend to buy this. Very Happy
