OGL is heavily trading today. Mostly it is in the selling side (Look at the cash map). Is there any margin call executed. Mr Rishan is holding OGL in margin trading account. Any guess?

Another 4.1 million crossing at 15.20

Merchant Bank of Ceylon PLC/Mr. S.H.M.Rishan 4,100,000 7.466

If I am not mistaken Mr Rishan purchased OGL at Rs 23/- last year. Question is, who is buying? Dr Senthilvel?

Mr Rishan has purchased OGL at Rs 21.56 in August 2011.

Not sure about PCP but OGL is now getting to be traded at around fair value. If it drops to Rs 12 it will be attractive based on earning potential.

Not sure about PCP but OGL is now getting to be traded at around fair value. If it drops to Rs 12 it will be attractive based on earning potential.

OGL - As of 30-09-2011, Net asset value is Rs 11.53. If it drops to Rs 12/-, it will be attractive.

PCP - Reference price was only Rs. 10/-. However, there were many crossings between Rs 40 and Rs 50/-. I assume those crossings were to maintain the price at Rs 25/- level.

If this was selling by him, looks like the earnings/dividends from PCH company is not going to even cover part of massive losses.

No need to wait till next report. Rishan have to declare it to the CSE. He is the executive deputy chairman. Normally he had the practice of declaring on the following day.

I don't believe this is force selling. Only in last week he re-constituted the board of directors at OGL. Most probably this is an internal transfer. But on the day he bought the stake, he said he will bring in a Bangladeshi partner. But this transaction has no such signs, as it's a local to local crossing.
