Lot of stories are circulating about an inquiry on a new comer to the TA field, who earned lot of fame in recent past by forecasting numbers, regarding his unfound and unethical remarks on certain companies and several well-known businessmen in an investors (beginners) forum.

This time not only from SEC, also as a Criminal Investigation? If anybody do have information or has attended the relevant forum, please enlighten the forum members.

This discussion will be much helpful as we all know that some T. analysts in recent past has use this valuable science to achieve their greedy targets (Actually they put this valuable science into prostitution!).

Should make money without killing the bird. What we are experiencing now is that. A dying bird. No offence in trading. But giving certain target index levels and driving the herd towards that to achieve sinister goals is not only an offence, but a CRIME, ethically and legally. Those things should be investigated and punished, I personally appreciate that.

bro i dont understand whats your point here. if you want to beat the best you need to be at your very best.that is why 1st thing you learn in stock trading is it involves greater risk at the same time higher returns. No pain No Gain. Technical Analysts can tell you when to BUY and possible Target to close at profit. We trade using different techniques, because market evolves every day.what do you expect from the market that it should give you return every time you invest on a stock, that may be half truth.if thats what is your are complaining then you better invest your hard earned money in govt bonds/treasuries which is risk free.
what do you mean by "driving the herd towards achieving sinister goals" either you take TA advise or you trade on your own system or similar to gambling expecting your stocks will rise at a future date.

Dont try to study all what is happening around, have a robist system with highly rigid ruls and be a strict disciplinarian.

this is the hard truth...so instead complaining i think we need to master the game to beat the big sharks and get out of their way.

so lets make some trades... Very Happy

Good Luck

In the start of the topic I have stated TA as a valuable science. I also use it for day trading. No offence on TA. You do your analysis and do the trading.

I am in CSE from 1996. I am an investor and a Trader. And have earned lot from CSE. My investment portfolio is reduced by around 45% from the peak. But much above my cost. My trading portfolio has given me about 7% return so far this year even after a certain amount of withdrawal. Success rate is around 60%. When I have time I have shared my views on certain shares in this forum even before I start buying. See my past threads, especially on GREG. GREG will give another opportunity very soon.

So this is not complaining, crying or anything like that. I have no reason as I have being here for last twelve years. I have seen so many ups and downs ,.. disasters .. miracles , etc. in CSE.
What I have shown is the danger. I heard this inquiry in the morning and I felt really appreciative for the people who took that initiative, if it's true.

Why?

1. Look at rapidly vanishing number of active accounts in broker houses.

2. No new funds coming in from locals and no liquidity in the market. More you go down liquidity will be less.
3. Look at the confidence, people have in country’s capital market.

4. Simply look at this forum. Active population is less than half now. Lot of people got burned. There are lots of reasons. But one is definitely, index based manipulation.

If you are savvy with TA, please post your unbiased TA analysis for the current week, next two weeks.

REMEMBER WHAT TA TELLS US IS HUMAN SENSITIVITY. HUMAN BEHAVIOUR. YOU CAN'T FORCAST IT.

1.This is common in bear market
2.Something CSE should do to attract along with the SLG to bring the new investments.
3. Confidence come down when you Gamble....
4. How come you never complained before when you were making money at selling HIGH did you ever imagined those who bought your shares would get stuck at those prices. a quick rewind to your trade history. go back to the highest profit you ever made on selected stocks.......

please dont take it personal..... and i do not wish to comment any further in this thread...

best regards
