Hey guys,
Im having an issue for few weeks, the DirectFN disconnects me frequently,

DFN Version : 4.14.19.18
ADSL is 1Mbps (SLT)

Does anyone have the same issue, the issue is the same for Capital Trust and Asia Securities DFN softwares

Please share you feedback

I think the problem is at the broker side, not with DFN or the connection.
I use 100Mbps fiber optic connection but still get disconnected several times a day.

Where did you get that DFN version from?

Usually ADSL is ok for DFN.
These days I am also experiencing some connection breakdowns. In my view, partially due to DFN servers partially due to ADSL.
BTW: Which area of the country R U from?

Your ADSL modem or router may contain errors. Sometimes with your connection settings.

1.Check up all settings first and remember to use default settings as SLT recommended.
2.Check the router using the Device Manager.(If you want to get know how to do it, please inform me)
3.Call the SLT and inform the issue.
4.Contact your broker also. Its better to call to the Technician.
5.Scan your computer for viruses fully using a updated virus guard. This is a possible reason because some malwares send your computer activities along and along to the hackers.

It can place Stop Limit orders & Stop Market Orders.

Also new period call GTT (Good till time)

Yes. Thanks.

Just installed. Now, I can run two DFN sessions in parallel with two brokers.
But, much expected minimum order fill is not there. That's a shame.

Minimum order fill is available with web interface of DirectFN. But as per ATS rules issued by SEC, Minimum fill orders can only works as FOK orders

Then there's no solution for paying Rs 15 tx fee for single share.
For 100 single shares even within a day, they charge Rs 1500. Pathetic.

No if it is within one day, all the number of shares for a single symbol will add up together & the commission will charge for that value. Not to the each & every sale/buy as before.

That means if you do buy & sell a single symbol for many times within a day, commission will charge for the total value.

Both of my brokers have charged Rs 10/- commission and Rs 5/- CDS for each tx separately (for one counter within same day).
Do you have any document to say it is wrong? Pls share it with me.
Unless I cannot make a strong voice against them.

I downloaded it but message appeared " Error occurred while downloading the history" when cache update. What to do to avoid this error?
