The market managed to continue with the positive momentum displayed last week. The main contributors for the todays turnonver were a few block trades. Total turnover for the day was over1.1 bn (Approximately USD 8.4 million) Total volume traded was close to 29 mn shares. Off the market deals continued on selected counters which again helped to post a decent turnover on board. Multinationals NEST and CTC saw blocks of 256,874 and 446,853 change hands at Rs.865 and Rs.484.10 respectively. Both counters went on to close the day losing marginally as the block trades transacted below the market prices.

Accumulation continued on CINS as another block of 112,000 shares changed hands at Rs.850 during the day.
