I do not have any news, but the usual Dividend time is near. Chances are they will declare a decent dividend but will they give Rs 1 again due to a small drop in profits?

Their Annual Report (See Page 183) suggests that they will declare a dividend of Rs 1 per share - for the third year in succession. I would recommend JINS at these levels.

I do not think they ever mention year 2012 interim or final dividend on page no 183.
Page 183 showing year 2011 dividend 1.00 which was paid in March last year.

@Redbulls: I looked through the JINS Annual Report again; I believe you are right (and I am wrong). Sorry for jumping to conclusions. Embarassed

Wait if their annual report said that they will declare LKR 1.00 dividend for the third straight year...looking at their announcements, they've only declared LKR 1.00 dividend in 2011 and 2010. Does that mean that it will be LKR 1.00 this year as well? Very Happy
