With all the too late retraction of hastily imposed “rules” plus various other developments, the Colombo stock market is looking as gloomy as ever. Considering the continuing threat of rising inflation, interest rates and depreciating dollar and the troubles of getting oil from Iran and rising oil prices and decreasing demand for our exports (e.g. tea), it is difficult for me to see something nice going to happen in the near future that could dramatically improve the mood.
So, How about the possibility of market going down by another 1000 points! Is this the right time to think about it rather than when it happens? Please let me have your valuable opinions.
Thanks in advance.
