Quarterly EPS is 0.68. NAV RS. 29.94
This is really a undervalued share.

To add clarity to your post, EPS presented in the accounts is an ANNUALISED number. EPS for the quarter is .........

Net Profit LKR25mn/148mn Shares = 17 cents
Annualised EPS 17cents*4 = 68cents

Sorry for the mistake. Well noted. Still I hope it's much better performance compared to last year.

Can someone explain the following?
For the year ended 31/03/2011 - Fiance expenses is Rs. 28,075,000.00
For the year ended 31/03/2012 - Fiance income is Rs. 2,276,000.00

This has made a big difference to their profit. Can someone please explain how did huge finance expense turned into finance income?

I guess you meant "Quarter Ended" & not "Year Ended".

The answer is in the balance sheet......

Q/E 31/03/2011=======> Interest bearing loans and borrowings LKR814Mn
Q/E 31/03/2012=======> Short Term Investments LKR122Mn

That means return from their core business is much less, and it seems better to sell off their assets and invest in a fixed income security can give CSD a higher return than their core business.
I Think they have another free hold land in Colombo 2, to be developed or sold.
