"it could bring earthquakes, volcanic eruptions or anything weather-related as well."

Paquette recalled that Super Moons were also seen in 1955, 1974, 1992 and 2005,(December 2004 tsunami happened two weeks before a supermoon)

I think is the solar flares and super noon effects already created trouble earth quakes etc. it is unlikely to bring another effect so soon after a one event.

Who can say what will happen next. However, what I feel is something happening around the world. People behave like crazy.

Sri Lankans do not have to worry too much. CSE is the least affected. Time to time various things happen in other countries. What took place has happened no body can prevent that. There was a partial meltdown, Japanese and US authorities effectively deal with the problem. Japan also pumping funds in to their market US also protect their market. US and Japanese authorities also play it down, why should then the CSE have to worry in vein. These things do not have an impact on Sri Lanka. Investors here do not have to be crazy, actually there is an increasing foreign interests on Sri Lankan market as this country is trouble free.

Sure , If there is another Tsunami in Sri Lanka investors will be crazy. There is nothing like that to worry at the moment. Why should Sri lanka worry when there are no serious problems here.

Guys it is better to be safe. Yes I agree.

But let us not worry too much to create unnecessary panic especially at CSE. I think panic can be the greatest man made disaster. We are experiencing some now. Yes it good for guys with money to collect but for small retailers they might be loosing their small fortunes or life saving due to panic selling. We don't need a another one.

Again don;t get me wrong. Let us try to use our brains to take precausions ( like don;t go to pick up sea shells when the sea resides or when there is a land slide warning do not take that road to be brave) but let us not worry further to create panic amongst CSE which is different.

No radiation risk at CSE. Colombo is far away from those areas. No evidence of wind blowing towards Colombo. Intelligent CSE should be able to attract some investments when the others withdraw from Japanese stocks etc.

I have a feeling that there is calamity and disaster, natural or artificial created by the jerk at the cse for most of us due to which there is panic, during the past few weeks

Almost the whole country was devastated with the recent floods, destroying 90% of the crops in the north, central and east. But CSE did not have any effect from that. It went up. I cannot explain why.

Super moon is unlikely to trigger a major disaster. Even if there are natural disasters Sri Lankans are less vulnerable than many other earthquake prone countries. Sri Lanka is not situated near any of those earthquake zones where there is plate movement. If at all it was the 9th of March solar flare which had some significant magnetic effect where sun released a burst of energy in the form of a Class X 1.5 Solar Flare and that was later earthbound and there were some disturbances. World observed a natural disaster of the scale of March 11th 9.0 scale earthquake. May or may not be related. Chances of a super moon related to a natural disaster are less likely than a solar flare affecting earth. Sri Lankans do not have to worry about these things now, actually if there is a tsunami now in Sri Lanka then the CSE will have to react. Until then CSE can think about growth prospects tourist arrivals, corporate earnings and so on.
