There was considerable activity in the chicken sector counters during last few days. For the benefit of forum members I have uploaded quarterly earnings update based on quarterly earnings for 31st March 2012.

• On PER basis BFL and TAFL are trading around PER of 5X as at today’s closing prices.
• GRAN is trading on around 10X PER.
• On PBV basis GRAN still trades bellow its book value.
• TAFL and BFL is bellow or around 1.5X PBV

someone tried to increase the price today by buying 1 share of BFL at 129..

can not agree with GRAN PER, because 1st qtr EPS is 0.01

It's with an one off exchange loss. So actual PER should be less than 5X-7X as with other chicken sector shares.
