Most of the us agreed with the fact companies in the CSE is attractive at the moment. But as you know short term factors are not good to CSE. Now we have to face another one, Power Cut.

There is a possibility of higher energy cost or decrease in production

Careful with short term investments

how do you know it is going cut the power ? Tell us the source. Or otherwise you wanna make panic ?

Just to alert members. Don't sell what you hold. But consider the factor in new investments.
There is no much water in these reservoirs regardless of official announcement or not. There can be power cut even without announcement.

There is buzz going on. Reservoirs water level has come down... its a fact.
More interestingly there were unofficial power cut
That is why we should not hurry to reduce fuel price at the moment

පෙරේදා හා අද උදෑසන කොට්ටාව ඇතුළු ප්‍රදේශ කිහිපයකම විදුලි බලය බිඳ වැටී තිබෙන අතර එම ප්‍රදේශවල ජනතාව විදුලි බල මණ්ඩලයෙන් විමසීම් කළවිට පවසා තිබෙන්නේ හදිසි බිඳ වැටීමක් නිසා විදුලි බලය විසන්ධි කර තිබෙන බවයි.

මීට අමතරව, පෙරේදා දිනයේදී පිටකෝට්ට ඇතුළු ප්‍රදේශ ගණනාවක විදුලි බලය පැය ගණනාවක් විසන්ධි වී තිබුණි.

කෙසේවෙතත්, විදුලි බල අමාත්‍යංශය හෝ විදුලි බල මණ්ඩලය විදුලිය කප්පාදු කරන බවට නිළ වශයෙන් දැනුම් දීමක් කර නොමැති නිසා මෙවැනි විදුලිය බිඳ වැටීම් වලින් ජනතාව පීඩනයට පත්වන අතර ජල විදුලි උත්පාදනය පහළ බැස තිබීම නිසා මෙය නොදන්වා විදුලිය කප්පාදු කිරීමකැයි සැකයට තුඩු දේ.

මේ අතර, ජල විදුලි බලාගාර ආශ්‍රිත ප්‍රදේශ වලට ඉදිරි සති දෙකේදීත් වැසි නොලැබුණහොත් අනිවාර්යයෙන්ම විදුලිබලය කපා හැරීම ආරම්භ කිරීමට සිදුවන බව විදුලිබල මණ්‌ඩල ඉංජිනේරුවරු පවසා තිබේ.

විදුලි බලාගාර ආශ්‍රිත ජලාශවල ජල මට්‌ටම ඊයේ වනවිට සියයට 14.5 දක්‌වා පහළ බැස තිබෙන බවත් ජල විදුලි නිෂ්පාදන හැකියාව ගෙගාවොට්‌ පැය 3.4 දක්‌වා පහළ බැස ඇති බවත් අනාවරණය වේ.

මේ නිසා, තාප විදුලි නිෂ්පාදනය සියයට 85.5 දක්‌වා වැඩි කිරීමට විදුලිබල මණ්‌ඩලයට සිදුව තිබෙන අතර මේ නිසා දෛනිකව මණ්‌ඩලයට සිදුවන පාඩුව රුපියල් කෝටි ගණනින් වැඩිවෙමින් තිබෙන බව විදුලි බල මණ්ඩලයේ ඉංජිනේරුවරුන් පවසා ඇත.

At least let the people know when the power going to cut. They can at least plan. Cutting without inform them is unethical and very harassing.
Electricity minister don't want to see his reputation decaying due to using official word "Power cutting", so whole Sri Lanka has to suffer "unexpected power cut" named as "electricity limitation"
