Three-month treasuries were up eight basis points to 11.20 percent, six month paper rose to 12.77 percent, while one-year maturities gained 10 basis points to 12.99 percent, the Central Bank’s Public Debt office said.
Some 15 billion rupees worth of maturing treasury bills were re-issued on Wednesday, with the bank receiving bids worth 33.738 billion rupees.
However, the debt office accepted only 14.496 billion rupees worth of bids from the market.
During Wednesday’s primary auction, the debt office sold 3.051 billion in three month bills, 10.350 billion in six month bills and 1.095 billion rupees in 12-month bills.
