Today the market ended red. WAPO was major contributer to bring it down. Unless some major manipulation tomorrow it looks like WAPO will head south dragging the ASPI along with it further.

Unless you have a knack to gamble so bad , don't chase after this. Recall that Wapo 75 rights were given at Rs 20 for 2 shares held before EX rights.

Is this the real value of WAPO now? Just I'm guessing... at a XR price of 1200;
=((75*20)+1200*2)/77 = 50.6

if the XR price was 800;
=((75*20)+800*2)/77 = 40.25

If the above calc makes sense, is pursuing this share at 240+ worth?

I donno.. see to me its gonna be a fiasco from investor's point of view.. but whether we like it or not, this can gets dragged down to 100 level tomorrow or even can gets pushed up to 600+..

I wonder if the regulators may consider imposing price ban if this comes down by 50% tommorow Rolling Eyes

. But this has to come down with the effect of rights issue as smallville has calculated above. Lets see.

As crazy and rediculous as it may sound even those who bought WAPO at the all time high of 10,012.50 could have sold today at 260 and almost cover their cost!!

But I beleive 196 is a not a bad price to enter and to hold for sometime.

if u see near to 2.00 P.M no buyers for at 196 to 198 then with in 10 minutes there is bid for 260 as well?

Well not really, I didn't buy. Because I didn't know what to do. To tell you the truth I wanted to enter around 200/210 but I saw what you guys have said and called my broker he told me the same about this share and chose not to.
