Say my Margin limit is 50,000Rs and my Cash Balance is 40,000Rs. So my buying power will be 90,000Rs now.
I buy some stocks spending all 90,000Rs using margin limit money.

Do I have to pay 50,000Rs( margin limit ) them with in T+3 days ? or Can I wait till credit clearance ?
or what , enplane please..

Educate meeeeeeee :)

"Thank you" and "bohoma PIN" in advance..

Telmewhy = Question bank ? Smile
Answer is no. You dont have to Settle within T3+ since you have used your margin facility not credit. You can settle your margin 50,000 later. But you will have to pay the monthly interest till you settle that debt. Hop you got it.!

For a credit of 50k i assume ur portfolio is worth 100k. (I assume ur are referring to broker credit here)

then with the 40k cash balance you can buy upto 90k

you have to pay the amount you buy on credit within T+5 if not ur broker will sell shares worth that amount to cover. If your shares are in red, then you may lose part of ur existing portfolio.

It is not clear .. Did you bought with credit or you have a margin trading account? If you use margin trading account, you dont have to worry about T3+.

Now its clear. Its not margin trading account. Its just buying against credit. es,you have to settle your debt according to T3+ rules.
