I thing most of them already cleared their debt (even me) ... this week most of them have money and ready to buy ... so buying pressure will be high ..

Maybe small investors try to sell stock to clear debts but big fishes are ready to buy in the queue.. So very hard to get good fundermental stock in low price level...

You should try to read some of the earlier posts regarding this and do some research at least like call your broker and ask about the credit situation than assume next week is the credit clearing week!
How did you came to that conclusion btw ? Did any one told you its the credit clearing week or you read it somewhere?

The 1st phase of the credit clearing will end 31st of March and the 2 phase of credit clearing should be done at by 31st June. There are fundamentally strong shares which you can find examples of in different threads in this forum. But the price factor your would need to analyze carefully. Good Luck!!

Don't get disheartened by people like Rajitha who like to clown around.

Any Decent broker that already had left over credit to be cleared would have already done it long time ago! They had almost 3 months even after the correction to do that!

Even We can check from our post .. here we are three of them discuss about this matter . but we all are cleared our debts

1st you... you also try to get an idea to buy "what shares will you focus on"
2nd me... I know I cleared my debts
3rd rajitha -- he/she laughing... and confidently saying call and ask the broker about credit situation..

So we can assume/ know ...mostly all credit are clean now...

so don't worry try to pick good stock in your cash not in credit again..

i saw some unexpected big chunks clearing up the buy order side on 2 occasions today where I had 2 buy orders at low, and I only watched the order books occasionally. I believe there is more credit to be cleared. and don't forget we have added up credit from the rally for no reason rallies we saw in the last few days in some shares. they have to be cleared up too next week. brokers and debtors will start artificial rallies to dump their shares. last few days i think the dumping has been controlled so that retailers can swallow up the dump in small chunks. but the time is running out for the sellers.

Not sure whether this is suitable to ask under this topic. (if not sorry Neutral )

Are they clearing only 50% to be safe or will they be clearing around 75% or nearly 100% so they have less to pay at June?
If they are clearing only 50% and no more, can we expect a similar scenario towards the mid June? (planning for future Very Happy )

The regulator only wants you to reduce credit by 50%. So nobody is forced to reduce any further. It is up to the individual investor who holds shares on credit to plan for the future. By the way, the brokers are now encouraging investors to opt for margin trading. This will ease the problem of credit clearing in June 2011.

It doesn't matter what ever the credit situation is

it is a matter of ur situation !
what is ur strategy to survive in any kind of situation and willingness to put it in to practice rather than mesmerizing what to do and when to do Idea
