Market couldn't break 5400 today due to some panic selling and attempts to collect lower.Whats the target for tomorrow. 5425-5450 or above 5450.

MPI just missed the 5000 mark by 5 points also......Must wait and see how they perform tomorrow.

I think still small investors have not reached their confidence level in positive level, so they tend to sell when market indicate some backward position nevertheless we have good hope and tomorrow may be the best day.

There is a meeting tomorrow with SEC and also next week cbsl to decide on interest rate. If lowered it will be good for equity market players. That would attract more money flow ......

We all hope for continous improvements in indices. ?Can any one explain the signal given in S&P. Idea

Is the current run is driven by craps while blue chips being ignored. This is similar to the trend we saw when bear began some time back. I remember, when the then DG SEC cautioned traders to pay more attention to blue chips he was heavily criticized by crap promoters. This was the time when they started credit control. Basketball

For sure they should reduce the Interest rates.. What should we value more as a developing country.......... Free Money(Bank Interest Rates) or Working money (Share Market Retuunrs)............ Even if it is passed 5400 or may be 5600, let it to play and study the moving AVG and investor sentimental. Most likely ASI get stable around 5400.

The recent set pattern is a sustainable one - market itself absorb the selling pressure by the buying pressure through buyers this is sa every a good sign ..none of the stocks gaining over 30% within a day ..this is good sign and trend by even the so called manipulators also i strongly feel market is maturing with a well organized way ....

yes ..we can see the market slowly but steadily approaching 6000 mark in ASPI ..By month end ..since we are still in the first week of Sept ...

By early next week or even today market will pass the 5500 .....mark..

I see again people sentiments going to up based on following factors which will sped up the ASI up;

1. Sri Lankan share market is taking third place and which has published through mass crowd
2. Still the perceptions of the structural changes in CSE is dominant among the people
( this may be different understanding those who knows real political dimensions of the very close high networks but still it is positive factor many others)
3. Banking and finance sector is highlighted booming sector at this season even this forum also I have observed it has been highlighted
4. The expectations of forthcoming weeks changes in the share market as per the schedules are being announced trough various channels i.e. coming Friday meeting between sec and stock broker association and after that there is news are moving regarding interest rate down with the discussion of CB.

These are the some of facts I could pointed here and this may not proper explanations but can get more explanations from our senior experts.
