This is not true ! I think as at 31st Dec 2011, ASI was around 5900. So still negative for the year. Lots of other markets are up 10-20 % year todate.

Foreign inflow is the key factor right now that could be realized looking into past month data. Current market grip could be tightened up further by timely mediation from institutional funds & the richest circle of investors.

Is there any reliable source to find out the total credits offered by brokers/financial institutes & how such credit control is monitored?
