Friends,

This is totally not related to the share market.I heard a rumour that due to non - payment of bank loan or something there is some problem in leeds International school and they have closed the school till 24th of september.Both my kids are attending to leeds so I am worried.If someone know anything about this could you please share it ?

On a serious note crap schools are like crap shares, they will give you a lot of stress. Best start looking for another school.

Do you know anything about that rumour ? Till now I do not have any problems with their teaching...actually it is good.

I hope this will not be happening.. Have you tried contacting few of their top board officers?
I would be very surprised if a bank behaves in this sort of a manner. Any lender must not play with children’s education for the sake of money.
They should deal it in an ethical manner. Close down any educational institue should not be happened.

Thanks UKboy for reply.Today I tried to contact them via phone.But no one answered(May be today is a holiday).Anyway this is a rumour.I hope if this is true they will come in to some sort of negotiation.Actually all of their schools have sustainable student base as far as I know.So I really surprised to even hear this type of rumuor.

If it is possible, try to admit them into Lyceum. That is the most demanded international school at the present. Royal Institute is ok as well. However, I have gone to a government school and I gained everything which I could get. Still I'm participating various programs and having good experiences. Smile

most international schools are crap.. they not governed or monitored by anyone.. they can do what ever they like.. its purely business.. I hate seeing education and health become business.

That's tru but Lyceum has a pretty good governence in control imo.. Everything was methodical and procedural.. They wont allow interference from parents and outsiders in the scholl time without prior appointments..
