I rather see it pass 6000 end of this week or even next week.

I want to enjoy the market atleast for a couple of years and not a few months of boom and bust.

The way you guys are talking/reacting/acting it seems like market will touch 10,000 soon which is NOT practical.

Take it easy and practice patience!

Cheers!

I'm coming to believe there really is high time manipulation in the market now. See the moment it's RED and there's a slide in the market, there's heavy collection. They collect and push the market up so they can sell high. The 'Pump and Dump' works both ways.

LOOK RED AND GREEN AS OPPERTUNATIES. WE HAD ABOUT TWO WEEKS OF CONTINUOUS UPTREND. TAKING BREAKS IS HEALTHY AND GIVE CHANCES FOR RE-ALLIGNMENTS.

I think t is still time to buy. We should not panic sell and keep our faith. I am sure market will come upto at least 9000 level. If we sell now we might regret later.

Highs and lows as it should be... but not sure how this small momentum take by our traders and panic sellers. if it a reversal hope the 5400 is the strong resistance to them.

This is what I said on this post;
http://forum.srilankaequity.com/t22799-will-6300-be-big-resistant-point#137520

We're currently above both 50 day & 200 day MA. Somewhere ard 5400, ASI has broken the 200 day MA and still heading up.
but look at the RSI value - its standing at 99.38. (Visually around 92 level) Its heavily overbought.. A further spike may land this in 100, the ultra overbought region.
An ADX line would also indicate this is trending up but we have to cautious..

Therefore a correction is much needed for the strength of this wave imo
A pull back to Fib 38.2% - 5450 or 50% - 5330 level is desired around ASI 6000 as depicted in the following chart.. Anything is possible The charts may proved to be wrong if few HNWIs take us for a ride..

Market has tested some levels with pullbacks all these days but never got materialised (may be manipulated again after a collection).
Therfore; its healthy that we embrace this dip today..

Be careful when you use words like that.
Market have gone up more than 1000 points within a month.
And this up trend is not backed by any macro economic factors.
Every body thinks bullish and talk about ASI reaching 10,000 and so on.
So many people believe on ASI, but can we trust on this number any more?
Soon GSF will get corrected and ASI will come down drastically.
My advice is always look for the intrinsic value of your holdings.
If it goes unusually high,
sell for god sake and don't worry about the opportunity cost if you had hold it.

Some of my holdings have reached more than 80% gain.
I don't care how fundamentally strong they are at those levels.
For the last couple of days, I've been selling heavily and will continue to do so if this madness continues.

I'm sure I have mentioned a valid reason for that. You better go back and check.
I never depend on speculation to take profit. I have posted my PF somewhere in the forum.
May be if you go through it, you will understand what I'm telling.
Knowing when to exit is equally important as much as the entry.

again red is dominant but we need to prevent a major collapse which may trigger by those who wishing, so friends share your positive views continuously, otherwise people will more panic.

Oh I suppose this situation won't be continued along. We experienced a over positive change which should haven't been happened few days ago and it generated signs of future weaken in the trend. That could be a strategy of a manipulator because as I observed, only about 19000 trades performed that abnormal incident.

However, this little backward helped to recover the over correction and the current trend will be going on as usual. I got to know that the new money has come into the market, which tells the arrival of new investors. Minds are being settled and speculative motives are being strengthened.
I guess market will turn into green on tomorrow or day after tomorrow definitely. That is just a thought of mine and don't misunderstand it.

Happy Trading! Smile

As far as I am concerned this red
period is healthy. Market cannot go up in straight sessions. It was in
extremely over bought region. So sellers releasing pressure and
correction of certain shares is much needed. I think this selling can
be there for few more days so market can rejuvinate itself. Maybe by
friday or next week we might see green if these sellers exhaust them
selves and buyer meet them. Volume wise today is lesser than the
green days. Prolonged drops in CSE also not the best as panic sellers,
negative new makers can take advantage and make bigger panic as we saw
in June.

On the positive side there is some indication of BOP
issue and credit issue ( bank) slowing down. Also today the Treasury
rates came down a bit.

All I can tell is we need to make use
of opportunities . I do not know how many believed me when repeatedly
said to collect slowly in July. If you did , you would have been winners now.
