My goodness........

How SHL going to pay a div. at this level. It should be around 200m + money.
I am sure they just want the investor confident to go for a right issue. Any way At last Mr. Ashok in action..............

Rights issue may be suicidal for pathirage. Instead he might try to find a buyer for stake in AAIC( like Otara did for Odel) which SHL has 95% and try to deleverage, this will greatly boost the bottomline of SHL as their top line is strong. I think he also intend to list the retail store business probably after a private placement. If SHL succeed above, this will be a stock to watch esp in next couple of years

u may correct. Pathirage may not hv enough money to subscribe for a right. SLH announced some where that they need to divest a potion of AAIC.......

I just highlight a possible reason for this Dividend issue. They dont need to give a div. at this level with all these expansions and credits. Finance cost has made the bottom line negative last qter . Rather They should hv paid their Loans. Any way. A Right issue is the only way to Heal the burden.

Right issue at this time will dilute NAV further. After disastrous IPO , shares at 60% IPO again asking money from public hmm..

Anyway selling part of AAIC and listing some other holdings seems more logical for me too. Logical sometimes do not work though at CSE Wink

so who knows " Kore pitata mare" can happen.
