Your ESET is either outdated or wrong.
This is what Google has to say about the web site

Are you saying that Google result is wrong an this company called ESET is correct?
Also note that you do need to have the most current version of ESET as well for things to work.
The only reason i posted this movie was because it shows some classic concepts of pump-dump, which is called boiler room scam in the west. If you think its harmful, despite the google safe browsing report, you may not watch it.

This is the Google report

I have the upto date, most recent, licenced ESET.If you look carefully my previous post you should see, it blocks that google report link also.

Most importantly I do not want to continue this argument as I am not an ESET promoter and I do not want to waste my time.Other readers can decide what to do....If they like, they can log in to that site if their virus guard does not block or they have not installed a virus guard, taking an obvious risk.Wink

OK I think their's somthing wrong with ESET engines... Most of these virus engines find sites that are non-harmful as well. This could be due to the content.. Say a site has some serials, keymakers and stuff like that the virus guards tend to label as "harmful".

Actually sometimes NOD32 antivirus blocks a website incorrectly even though the website is absolutely ok and doesn't contain any suspicious data.

When it blocks a website, it shows following error message when you try to open it in your web browser:

Access denied!

Access to the web page was blocked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. The web page is on the list of websites with potentially dangerous content.

Though I've experieced the same kinda situations with ESET, it was the most reliable virus gurad that runs with the minimum memory usage imo..

So when I wanted to browse a site labelled "harmful" I use my decretion to explore it so I stop the guard for sometime Wink

Alternatively, you can enter the website URL which you want to remove from NOD32 blacklist into Exclusions like. You just need to enter the domain name without http://www prefix. For example, if NOD32 has blocked Yahoo, you'll need to enter *yahoo.com*

BTW - I've not checked the link being discussed here yet.. Just sharing my experience with ESET.

Its very uncommon that a www.google.com site is infected. The Google safe browsing ( GSB) site itself is used to determine how safe/clean a web site is. If the GSB site is reported as unsafe it can only mean
1) that the google site is infected
2) that the VG's report is faulty

Its very very unusual that the GSB is infected and google has not fixed it yet. So it boils down to option 2 - VG is faulty

I use AGV and MS security essentials. Both do not report the site as bad. I also use Firefox which has a built in "harmful site detection" feature, which also says the site is ok.

What made me write this is mainly to point out that its BAD to turn off you VG just to view a web page. Generally any decent VG should allow for user intervention allowing you to decide to view the site, if you choose to do so, without actually turning off the VG. It is always best not to turn off the VG and firewall.
Also never log in to the Internet with your Admin account. Create a normal user account, so that even if infected, the attacker will only have limited normal user access and an OS such a win7 or vista with UAC can manage to be safe
