During the trading hours of the day we discussed about the dividends declared by LLUB, NEST & CTC.

I have checked the dividends paid by these companies for the last 3 financial year and will put them here in few minutes.

If you know about the dividend pattern of the local companies please share

Hemas Holdings has given as below in total per year:
2007 / 2008 - Rs. 2.50 per share
2008 / 2009 - Rs. 1.80 per share
2009 / 2010 - Rs. 2.25 per share
Subdivided one in to five shares in July' 2010
2010 / 2011 - Interim Dividend Rs. 0.25 per share (November'2010)

noted JKH also used to declare 4 interim dividends of Rs. 1/= each

FY 2008 - Rs. 4.00/share
FY 2009 - Rs. 6.50/share

One should remember that the companies who pay high dividends are usually companies which cannot put the profit for more growth like e.g. wholesale companies. So their price/earning should be lower but not likely in CSE :-D

different shareholders used different ways to take their capital out & multi nationals used dividend as method to take their investment from the investing countries
