Guys since we all are expecting a banking sector rally

Banks like COMB HNB SAMP will dominate the market in terms of turnover, and COMB might hit Rs.170-Rs.200
But what do you all think of these crap shares like CIFL LVEN SFS...etc do you think that they will also move 70%-100% or the prices will not move at all

Experts share your views

COMB hitting 170 is too optimistic.COMB will itself add huge amount to index if it happens and what would be the ASI value then?

with all due respect i think we should not say crap shares...much better term would be speculative shares know. Rolling Eyes

because they will give huge capital gains if you trade with it whilst respecting same. Smile

the question for some crap and other a gainer is all is a state of mind rather than anything to do with the share. Shocked

i am highly optimistic on COMBX..... to do well in coming weeks 140Rs is possible if the B/O takes place to the higher Basketball

Also SAMPN is probable to make new HIGHS. Twisted Evil

If there is an overall market run then every thing will move. Fundamentally weak or not . But the difference is what shares are you comfortable in holding for capital gain and dividend and what to trade only.

CIFL and SFS is fundamentally weak with earnings. I would only trade if we get in at the right time.

I would not call LVEN a crap. It pay decent dividends and earning can go up when the market recovers.

COMB was trading around at a high around Rs 300 before the right issue and split. If/when there is a huge bull run that will cross previous ASI high of 7800 then we may see comb at what you said around 170. But right now that is too optimistic. As a value/growth share with dividends in Bank/fin sector , there are many more stronger earning/dividend shares in small caps if you look closely . I am not saying COMB at this price is not good is as it is one of the best companies in the country to hold for long term.

But am thinking about higher capital again.

But dividend, growth potential TFIL and COCR seems attractive in small cap Fin sector. Just look at how many shares trading below PE of 5 , around NAV and pays dividends of 6-8% in Fin sector.

For banks , smaller ones like NTB are growing very fast with decent dividend, better PE and NAV.

To be frank many shares are at good price now. Hard thing is to pick selectively.

TAH, we need to note only thing, COMB.X is almost 90% of COMB.N now. Even at the right issue these were done at 2/3% for X. So i do not see that COMB.X always keeping 90% rate with N in longer term,

To that matter HNB.X is more attractive to me.

I think LVEN was confused with LDEV. It will be difficult for LDEV recover anytime soon by looking at the performance of their segments + cash flow issues. One of the other companies noted as a crap share has not paid some of their workers for some months although personal expenses show a growth Smile
