S&P SL20 slightly up while ASI is down by 12 units. Turn-over passes one billion mark. An interesting situ. Comming days will be very important to watch.

By the way, how do you get this data prior to it being published in CSE web?

Jan 10, 2012 (LBT) - The market closed on a mixed note whilst accumulation continued on selected blue-chips. The broader market lost 13 points to close at 5732 points. S&P Sri Lanka 20 index gained 1 point. Turnover = LKR. 1 Billion (Approx. USD = 8 Million) vs. 12-month average daily turnover of LKR.909 Million

HNB witnessed two blocks totaling up to 1,766,538 shares change hands at LKR 146/- levels whilst industry peer SAMP witnessed a block of 100,000 shares changing hands at LKR 201/- .

Accumulation continued in COMB as the counter witnessed over 900,000 shares being accumulated between LKR 104.80/- and 105.50/- levels across the board. Meanwhile DIST also witnessed two blocks carrying a million shares in total being traded at LKR 180/- levels.

Market heavyweight JKH witnessed a block of 103,800 shares being traded at LKR 223.50/- levels whilst another block of 200,000 shares was traded at LKR 225/-. Furthermore a final block of 262,300 shares was seen changing hands at LKR 224.50/- levels whilst over 148,000 shares was seen trading across the boars between LKR 223/- and LKR 224/- price ranges.

Foreign accumulation was seen in NEST as the counter witnessed a block of 30,700 shares change hands at LKR 1,630/- levels.
