X company

Amal is buying X company shares, Kamal is buying, Wimal also buying. hmmmm what should I do.
Yes guess what I bought it for a 50% premium. According to Amal, Kamal & Wimal this rally is yet to be started in full scale. Within two days my share appreciated further 10%. I am happy. Very happy. Yes they were correct.
Stupid other people did not buy X company share when I told them to buy. They no nothing I’m the best Laughing Laughing Laughing

Next week.

Amal is selling his shares, Kamal is selling, Wimal also selling.... Oops stupid me I missed it & I'm now in red. Shocked
Better be waiting few more days. No improvements.....

Some people say that Rule No.1: Never lose money, Rule No.2 Never forget rule no. 1. Yes I need to remember this all the time. Not to lose money. So I’m waiting..

Few months later...

I’m still waiting to sell my X company shares.... & interestingly Amal, Kamal & Wimal are buying Y company shares. Some other small investors are following them & buying Y company shares at a premium as same as I used to do.

(Please note that these three people namely Amal,Kamal & Wimal live in my imaginary world)

Dear All,
If some one getting profit mean definitely some one getting a loss. every one cant get profit without loosing some one. Thats the reality in any market not only in stock market. when some ppl happy about there gains definitely lots of ppl crying about there looses. any one cant change this system. If you gonna invest in stock market you should prepare to bare gain or lost what ever u have to.

Do not agree. This may be true for manipulated shares. But not for all. For example if you purchased share X for 2 and sold to someone after one year for 3 and one who bought at3 sold it for 4 latter which party in this series of transactions lost his/her money? No one. That is one major difference between trading and investing.

Investing is beneficial for all as a whole. That is why I stand for it

Agreed but you only considered about price always increasing scenario. what happen after person buying it for 4 rupees it goes to 2 rupees and never go up to 4 rupees again. So some one has to bear the loss. i talked about day to day normal market behavior. not about extreme cases like IPO's

It is a fact that anyone may loos. However my point above post is to show that in investments it is not a must to loos another party. In other words your statement "every one cant get profit without loosing some one" is not a general truth.

Investments should be based on future prospect not on mere trends. Then, on average no one would loose unless otherwise an unexpected event occurred.

Yes Acadamic.

This is the most unfortunate misconception many of the people have. We feel some one has to bear the loss for others gain. Stock , market is not for that. That may be true for casino and "Assa-gudung"

Unfortunately due to this mythical mindset most of the people get more losses.

Yep, people have almost forgot that share value appreciation is based on corporate earnings, and the resulting capital gain is due to the company performance in which we have invested, and not because of these pumping dumping idiots. Further investors get fair amount of dividend from good companies as an appreciation of investing money in their business. In that sense we transfer our investment to someone else when selling, where the new buyer has the equal opportunity to earn based on future earnings given that he/she has selected a good company with future potential. So can't agree on this win-lose ideology.
