Hi,
I have some UBC shares bought at the IPO. Please shed me some light on following.

a) Banking Sector P/E
UBC current EPS and P/E
Your view , Is it worth holding this any more ?

b) What sector does Free Lanka fall under and the sector P/E
what is the EPS for Free Lanka (for the number of all IPO shares) and the P/E at IPO price
your view on weather it's worth holding this for some time. Have you got any idea of ROI of this stock ?

Regarding UBC:
Their reported 2010 Year eps is 0.64. So at Rs 33 the PE is around 51.56. Due to technicals and people who bought this for much higher it can go up with a run( and a postive uptred of the market) , to me there are other attractive banks shares with stronger fundamentals right now. Union can do better in th future but right now I mentioned what I felt.

BTW right now I would watch a biut more to figure which direction this will go. I noticed it came to Rs 32.xx then started to go up tp Rs 33. So worth to watch before making a further decision if you planning to sell
